Lisa was born and raised in Greenfield, Massachusetts. She attended Colby College, graduating with a BA in Psychology in 1989. Lisa began her Challenge Course career in 1991, when she was trained in the use of Ropes Course activities in a therapeutic setting. Lisa continued her work in residential treatment programs for at risk children over the next 11 years.

For the past 3 years, she has worked for Absolutely Experiential, planning and facilitating team buildings and trainings for youth groups, as well as a diverse group of corporations, school staff and others, who have partnered with AE to impact their respective organizations.

Lisa has been married for 14 years and has two daughters ages 6 and 10.
